I must pray for the good things of life, with a humble submission to the will of God.

Lord, you have told us that godliness holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come; 1 Timothy 4:8(ESV) and that if we seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, other things will be added to us; Matthew 6:33(ESV) and therefore, we cast all our anxieties about these things on you, who cares for us; 1 Peter 5:7(ESV) for our heavenly Father knows that we need them all.
