Visit the houses of mourning, as our Saviour did, and comfort them by assuring them that Christ is the resurrection and the life; John 11:25(KJV) that their relations which are removed from them are not dead but sleep; Matthew 9:24(KJV) and that they shall rise again; John 11:23(KJV) that they may not sorrow as those that have no hope; 1 Thessalonians 4:13(KJV) and enable them to trust in the living God, 1 Timothy 6:17(KJV) the Rock of Ages, and enjoy the fountains of living waters, when creatures prove broken reeds Isaiah 36:6(KJV) and broken cisterns. Jeremiah 2:13(KJV)

Be a father to the fatherless and a husband to the widows, O God, in thy holy habitation. Psalm 68:5(KJV) With thee let the fatherless find mercy, Hosea 14:3(KJV) keep them alive, and let the widows trust in thee, Jeremiah 49:11(KJV) that they may be widows indeed, who being desolate, trust in God and continue instant in prayer night and day. 1 Timothy 5:5(KJV) And where father and mother have forsaken, let the Lord take up the children, Psalm 27:10(KJV) and not leave them orphans, but come to them.
