Petition 3.17 | KJV
To direct my conscience, to shew me the way of my duty, and to make me a wise, knowing, judicious Christian.
Lord, give me a wise and understanding heart, 1 Kings 3:9(KJV) that wisdom which in all cases is profitable to direct; Ecclesiastes 10:10(KJV) that wisdom of the prudent which is to understand his way. Proverbs 14:8(KJV)
This I pray, that my love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, that I may discern things that differ and may approve things that are excellent; that I may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ, and may be filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God.
