This version of A Method for Prayer was edited and revised by Ligon Duncan and published by Reformed Academic Press in 1994. It preserves Matthew Henry's echoing of the King James Bible. The second half of the book is comprised of three of Henry's discourses on prayer and a few helpful appendices, the most valuable of which is Duncan's “A Pocket Outline for Scriptural Prayer.” This handy summary of Henry’s “Method” can be tucked nicely in the back of one’s Bible and consulted as a helpful guide in prayer. |

This version of A Method for Prayer is similar to the above, particularly in its echoing of the King James Version, yet it is a more recent revision. Christian Focus Publications ships from the UK, so this may be a better option for certain international customers. |
